We provide resources to meet the most basic needs including shelter, clothing, water and food along with economic, educational and training opportunities for the most persecuted and oppressed populations. We focus on women, children, and people with disabilities, enabling them to provide for themselves, their families, and break the cycle of poverty and oppression. In addition, we support the growth of individuals through housing, personal care, opportunities to learn a trade or attend school, and loan seed money to launch small businesses. Our purpose is to see individuals - formerly outcast, overlooked, and oppressed - achieve their God-given potential and become the building blocks of change in their families, communities and societies as a whole.
We recently redesigned our site and simplified our message and our information. We have been asked ‘why the change?’ It is for three reasons:
· to do more to protect the identity and privacy of those we assist
· to prevent manipulation of people’s feeling by saying too much about these difficult situations, and
· to rightly keep our focus on the One who sends help versus the persons who are served or serving.
As we discussed how best to accomplish these goals, we decided to keep our communication simple and to the point. That being said, we are happy to answer any questions you may have.
Please feel free to contact us for more information or to simply clarify any questions. Thank you for taking the time to learn about our organization.
