Early forced marriages, teen pregnancy and female circumcision have all attributed to many Maasai girls’ lack in basic needs.  Their physical, personal, and spiritual growth often has been limited and their independence and voice within their own community has been stiffened. The Smallest Seed is committed to financially supporting those from The Maasai Girls’ Home who want to continue their education after high school. Our hope is that girls who wish to obtain a college degree will not be hindered by financial burdens and continue in their pursuit of an education with the assistance of The Maasai College Fund.
